Max Coulter

Max Coulter
My name is Max Coulter, and I’m an undergraduate mechanical engineering student at Colorado State University. I’m currently gaining industry experience through my role at VICE, where I work on hands-on projects involving machining, fabrication, and mechanical systems.
I have a strong interest in applied engineering—particularly in areas that intersect with my personal pursuits. I’m an avid golfer with a competitive background, a dedicated rock climber, and a skilled mountain biker. I also enjoy hunting and spending time outdoors, which has shaped both my mindset and my approach to engineering challenges.
I’m originally from Owasso, Oklahoma, and I chose CSU to combine academic opportunity with proximity to the mountains and outdoor access. My long-term goal is to apply my engineering background in industries that align with my interests—whether that’s in sports equipment, outdoor gear, or high-performance mechanical design.
